The studied objects are 331 students of the high-grader elementary schools in New Taipei City. The assessment scale of “the study of life experiences and behaviors of high grade students in New Taipei City" is used to conduct questionnaire surveys and statistical analysis. The results of the analysis are as the followings. 1. For different background children, there are significant differences in deviant behaviors. The trend of deviant behaviors of boys is higher than that of girls; and the trend of deviant behaviors of sixth graders is higher than that of fifth graders. 2. For different gender children, there are significant differences in empathy. The empathy of girls is obviously higher than that of boys. 3. For different family condition variables, there are significant differences in family attachment. This research reveals that the family interactions of those who live together with their parents and those who live not only together with their parents but also with their grandparents are better than those who live with just one parent. 4. For different gender variables, there are significant differences in school attachment. In the parts of “class adjustment”, “adjustment of human relation environment”, and “overall school attachment”, the scores of girls are obviously higher than those of boys. 5. There are significant correlations between the empathy and the deviant behavior. The stronger empathy they have, the less deviant behaviors they have. 6. There are significant correlations between the family attachment and the deviant behavior. The stronger family attachments the children have, the less deviant behaviors the children have. 7. There are significant correlations between the school attachment and the deviant behavior. For those who have stronger school attachments, especially for those who show good adjustment to class, the incidence the deviant behaviors shows lower. 8. The deviant behaviors can be predicted effectively by empathy, family and school attachment. The 20.8% of variance can be described in terms of the joint six factors, they are “class adjustment”, “grads”, “emotional empathy”, “adjustment of human relation environment”, and “gender”, and “family accompaniment”. Among of them, the “class adjustment” could explain 11.3% of the variance, which is the best explanation for the overall deviant behaviors of the high-grade elementary students. Key words: high-grade elementary school children, empathy, family attachment, school attachment, deviant behavior SHEU, CHUEN-JIM 許春金 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 66 zh-TW
