The research was an action study which lasted ten weeks from April 01, 2015. Through teacher’s oberservation records, reflection diary, students’ worksheets, the partner teachers’ recommands, the results of students’ reading tests on before and after prediction strategy instruction, the survey and so on. The researcher analyzes and generalizes the research results to disuss if prediction strategy instruction could promote the second grade elementary school students reading comprehension and interest. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Prediction strategy instruction is suitable for the second graders. 1.1 For the second graders, the prediction strategy is easy to learn. 1.2 Prediction strategy could promote the reading interest for the second graders. 1.3 Prediction strategy could promote the reading comprehension of the second graders. 2.With the predction strategy, the teachers’ finding. 2.1 Prediction strategy instruction could stimulate students’ imagination. 2.2 Teachers could observe students’ inner by prediction strategy instruction. 2.3 Prediction strategy instruction could make reading teaching more plentiful and interesting.
