However there are many complexities and limitations in the game forms and rules. In recent years, multimedia devices have begun to be used by board game designers to create sensational innovative board games. This study investigates the perceptual experiences, brand recognition and consumer satisfaction regarding board games combined with mobile devices. After much consideration, the Taiwan Indie game developer, Legiondary: BoardGame was chosen for this study. During the Taipei Game Show at the board game sections, test participants could play the game and fill out questionnaires after it was explained to them how the game was played. The test participants were people who were interested in board games and came to the board section of the game show. After collecting the feedback of over 100 questionnaires, the complied data was put through quantitative analysis and the Kruskal-Wallis H Test to get the statistics the study needed. The final results showed that the board game of this study which used digital equipment had a positive response. After discussion with professors and experts, this study was able to compile related advice for related future studies to take reference from and build upon.
