The popularity of this comic has led to an ongoing trend of its derivative products, and the best seller-the action figure is the most representative item. The main focus of this research is to discuss current trend of action figures of One Piece in Taiwan; the purpose is as follows: 1. To discuss the reason that makes ONE PIECE a classic. 2. To explore the development of action figures.3. To analyze types of ONE PIECE action figure. 4. To investigate the and purchase intention of ONE PIECE action figures in Taiwan. 5. To provide advice of current Taiwan ONE PIECE action figures for future design and modification reference. The research method in this study includes literature review, induction, analysis of action figure, interviews and questionnaire. And the research process consists of creating research reference data and questionnaire through literature review, data analysis and induction, and analysis of action figure example, while combining information gathered from local interviews of shops,consumers as well as Japanese shops for reference when designing the final questionnaire. According to this research questionnaire result analysis, it is clear that animation content has a close relationship with action figures, and the most important part is that the fondness of content or the individuality of roles has great impact of purchase intention of consumer. In addition, the identical-to-the-comic design, the reliable quality, various types, numerous variations, and reasonable prices are the reasons why consumers would like to collect these action figures. In the future, the design of One Piece action figures can be integrated 3D printing technology for more variations. The result of this research can underpin relevant researches in the future, provide abundant information to One Piece action figure collectors as well as become reference for shops mainly focus on action figures or designers who are doing researches for future action figure design reference.
