The concept of sexuality involves physical, psychological, and social perspectives, in this study it includes premarital sex, gender roles, relational interactions, and body images, etc. This study adopted narrative research to explore the forming process of sexuality of mother and daughter, as well as the interactive experiences between them. The participants included two pairs of mother and daughter; each participant was interviewed by researcher for twice to four times, and each interview took two to three hours. The results are as follows: 1. The characteristics of mother’s forming process and manifestation of sexuality include “exhibit the image of being void of desire”, “be restricted in traditional marriage structure”, “be anxious about unavoidable pregnancy”, “forbidden language cannot express experiences”, “importance of friends’ support”, and “relate to mother’s individuation”. 2. The characteristics of daughter’s forming process and manifestation of sexuality include “believe sexual behavior as normality in intimate relationship”, “actively engage in sexuality but may unable to express her own need”, “the traditional gender roles remain in intimate interaction”, “forbidden language contrast with enjoyable language, but neither of them can reflect the experiences”, and “need guidance from friends or elders”. 3. The characteristics of mother and daughter’s interactive experiences on sexuality include “indirect or lack of conversation”, “one inquires but the other avoids to response”, “different languages represent different perspectives and expectations”, “dilemma of giving guidance or protecting boundary”, and “unconsciously transmission of mother’s individuation”. According to the results, implications for mother, daughter, education institutions and further research are discussed. Su-Chen Hung 洪素珍 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 279 zh-TW |
