Action research was employed in three teaching units with linguistic rhythms. Twenty-six participants were from Class 1, seventh grade at the school where the researcher works. The findings show using Rhythmic speech in the teaching of Tang poetry can improve students’ learning willingness. Students have positive attitude toward learning and reciting Tang poetry with Rhythmic speech. Moreover, applying Rhythmic speech on reciting Tang poetry can improve students’ performance as the result presents 80%-90% student is able to correctly and fluently recite the selected Tang poetry. Some suggestions are provided to teachers who will use Rhythmic speech to teach Tang poetry according to the findings. Firstly, teachers should build rules for the class and strictly follow the rules to maintain the order of the class. This can also train students’ abilities of group discussion and collaboration. Secondly, bringing some learning tools into the class can improve the effect of learning and it can also make the teaching flow more fluent and deepens students’ learning.
