Fifity-five species of leucosiid crabs in 34 genera from Taiwan are presented, including 3 new genera and 2 new records. The leucosiid crabs are recorded for the first time including Pariphiculus coromatus (Alcock et Anderson, 1894) and Pariphiculus agariciferus Ihle, 1918。 In this study, the material of the genus Arcania Leach, 1817 were used from Taiwan, and led to the description of three new genera: genus I n. gen., genus II n. gen., genus III n. gen and recovers the position of genus Ixoides MacGilchrished, 1905 by the morphology and molecular analysis. Their characters are significantly different from carapace sharp, marginal spine of carapace, margin of buccal cavity and the structure of male first gonopod. Also, the nucleotide divergence of different genera are separated, clearly. The minimum interspecies divergence range of COI between 16.3% (genus Ixoides - genus III) to 29.6% (genus I - genus II) and 16S rDNA value is between 6.2% (genus Arcania - genus Ixoides; genus I - genus Ixoides ) to 8.3% (genus I - genus III). In zoogeographical distribution analysis, the present leucosioid fauna of Taiwan has 46.0% genera and 11.0% species of the world species. Based on this study, there are 7 species: Pariphiculus mariannae(Herklots, 1852), Myra fugax(Fabricius, 1798), Euclosiana crosnieri(Chen, 1989), Leucosia formosensis Sakai, 1937, Leucosia longimaculata Chen & Fang, 1991, Urnalana erythema Lin, Lai & Galil, 2014 and Urnalana hirsute Lin, Lai & Galil, 2014, which are north boundary of distribution in Taiwan. The fauna of Taiwan are most similar region is North China Sea (with 44.12% similarity), the next region is Japan and Sourth China Sea, of 27.43% and 23.05%, the farthest region is Atlantic (with 0.80% similarity).
