If not properly controlled, it is prone to complications which might lead to disability or even death of the patient. Therefore, early detection and proper control and management are essential to the treatment of the hypertension. Atrial fibrillation is a cardiovascular disease characterized by abnormal heart rhythms. In a majority of cases there is little omen before its attack. The atrial fibrillation increases the heart failure, dementia, and stroke risks of the patient. Myocardial infarction is an acute and severe heart condition, its symptoms are different degrees of chest discomfort. It is usually due to the clogging of the blood supply to the heart coronary vessels. Early detection of the hypertension, myocardial infarction, or atrial fibrillation will significantly reduce the mortality caused by these diseases. In ths paper, we use an Android smartphone combined with a circuit for measuring ECG, blood pressure, and pulse signals to accomplish a portable cardiovascular signal measurement and analysis system. Noise is a common problem when measuring the cardiovascular signals, so the measured signals are processed by a high-pass and a low-pass filters to eliminate the high and low frequency noises, respectively. The measured signals are then digitized via an Arduino board and sent to the smartphone using Bluetooth. The smartphone performs cardiovascular signal analysis and gives warnings of possible hypertension, atrial fibrillation , or myocardial infarction. The smartphone end is equipped with an Arduino Bluetooth module to receive the measured cardiovascular signals. The smartphone conducts the tasks of plotted the measured signals on the display screen, detecting the the time-domain R-R wave spacing (R-R interval) for the pulse and ECG signals, calculating the diastolic, systolic, and mean blood pressures and the heart rate. Further analysis of the ECG signal is also performed on the smartphone to detect signs of possible atrial fibrillation or myocardial infarction. Tseng, Ching-Hsiang 曾敬翔 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 47 zh-TW
