Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 設計學系 === 104 === The Soviet inventor Russian Genrich Altshuller published TRIZ theory and offered a logical way for people to seek possible solutions.According to suggestion obtained from the 40 principles of innovation, we can think more across different fields while creating and be no longer confined by aesthetic design of external shape.To inspire designer’s different ways of thinking and creation in order to achieve the purpose of solution, this study in-depth explores more about the traits and usefulness of this principle through analysis to let designer make their work by applying traits of such principle during the process of creative thinking. Through case study and exploration on creation experiment, “transition into a new dimension” was concluded to be one of concept developed for designing and thinking.
Through this study, we understand the origin, tool applied, approach and procedure of TRIZ principle through literature studying, “transition into a new dimension”, as one of the 40 principles of TRIZ was the research subject.And this principle was used to search pictures of award-winning masterpieces at Red Dot, iF or on the websites in order to reversely verify whether the case really matches the traits of principle in this study. Through case study, I analyzed relevant applications such as, basic application, color, shape, material and usage to comprehend every application of this item by the current product.
This study adopted one of the common products in our daily life, pen container as the application of designing and thinking for creative experiment “transition into a new dimension”.
The application of model inspiration is as reference for designing and thinking, and critical research conclusions are as below:
(1). The chance for principle of transition into a new dimension to show up in mechanism was higher.
(2). There was less applications of soft material which were with traits of “transition into a new dimension”.
(3). Soft material used during creation was changed as small units compose large unit by the braid procedure.
(4). Sense of discrepancy between contradiction matrix and actual application.
(5). Image analysis this study could obtain more results.
(6). Relation of application on the perspective of designing mechanism.
