In addition to research methods of Library and Information Science research have a major impact, but also the extent of other important academic fields, research methods as tools to answer research questions, and therefore it has a pivotal role in the research field. Research methods courses, the majority has always been listed as a national education for librarianship as a compulsory course for doctoral studies completed master has a profound impact. To further investigate the circumstances related to the use of research methods in the field of domestic Library and Information Science Master doctoral thesis, this study by the National Library "Taiwan Theses knowledge bonus system" keyword "Book Information" search produces domestic Library and Information Science Department The Bo, master's thesis for the study, including National Taiwan Normal University, National Chengchi University, Fu Jen Catholic University, National Taiwan University, National Chung Hsing University, Tamkang University, six schools (considering Tamkang University Library and Information Science in the field of domestic contribution to numerous historic and the number of students graduating, it will be included in the study Tamkang University) To further explore possible future recommendations in two ways: First, the researchers were actually involved in the school curriculum, and in the meantime to collect information purposes; the second is through interviews with students when the semester elective or elective student of content analysis notes to collect information purposes.
