Now a days, many handheld device applications combine the handheld device’s sensors to form a new type of IoT (Internet of Things) applications. From IoT point of view, smart campus can be viewed as an application of IoT in campus. Although there are many smart campus services and applications for students and teachers, but there are rare integrate smart campus systems which can provide robust sensor functions. This research proposes multi-mode sensor scheme to integration smart campus applications which can quickly access and browse sensors related information in campus. Our system proposes three sensor modes including Near Field Communication, iBeacon Communication and Hybrid Communication. Using these sensor modes, users can get context information, and can quickly complete their intents in specific situation. Furthermore, our study also focus on the user experience factors of the system. We not only focus on interface design, but also concerned with other factors which will affect the user experiences. Therefore, our system establishes the cloud database integrating various data, and analyzes user behavior patterns, adjusts interface design based on demand to match up user’s expectations, and then provides the users a more complete capability of multi-mode sensors.
