Our device allows us to measure the structure and the rheology synchronously. The results of our experiments provide us a insight full information the complex structure-rheology relationship of the emulsions in a more detailed then rheometer manner. Shear thinning behavior at finite shear rates is observed. The light scattering result shows that the inter-droplet order is weakly induced at high and low shear rates while at medium shear rate the droplet order is strongly induced. The inter-droplet structure is coupled with the rheology behavior. Combining the structural (scattering) and the rheological (stress) responses, we discovered that within certain range of shear rate, better inter-droplet order corresponds to weaker stress response.
