Methods: Subjects were forty-two 10 to 12-year-old children, divided into traditional style stilt group, game style stilts group and control group. Both traditional style stilt group, game style stilts group were underwent twelve weeks, twice a week stilt training. Subjects were carried out before and after the training capacity of dynamic, static balance testing. The data was analyzed by one-way ANCOVA, to compare differences in balance among the groups (α = .05). Results: The results showed that, the traditional style stilt training group, game style stilts training group, and control group showed no significant improvements on dynamic balance ability between pre-test and post-test. Also, the traditional style stilt training group, game style stilts training group, and control group showed no significant improvements on static balance ability between pre-test and post-test. Among the groups, the game style stilts training group showed significant improvements on walking ability. Conclusion: Through the 12-week traditional style stilt and game style stilt training could not improvements dynamic and static balance ability for children.
