The targeted therapies and immune-oncology drugs influence the traditional treatments in terms of surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and so on. The market share of targeted therapies and immune-oncology drugs are increased with higher competition between different pharmaceutical companies. To win the market in this competitive situation, this study looked for key successful factors that influence self-pay strategy efficiently which would put the product in leading position of cancer treatment market with higher profit. The key successful factors can be determined by several dimensions including doctor perspective, patient perspective, and pharmaceutical company’s perspective. It is an important part to analyze the key successful factors for self-pay strategy in different perspectives. In this study, expert interview and personal experience are used for figuring out the key successful factors, and the results are analyzed with expert questionnaire and analytic hierarchy process to summarize the selling successful factors in self-pay cancer drugs. The results would build a business model for applying in the future for driving higher profit in self-pay drugs. In the future, the profit should transfer back for developing more specific drugs for patient benefit with outcome and cost-effectiveness.
