This study draws on questionnaires from 116 Taiwan’s incubated start-ups and applies regression analysis to investigate the above main argument. First, the results indicate that the incubated start-ups’ exploratory learning has a positive effect on their financial performance. Second, incubated start-ups’ outbound open innovation positively moderates the relationship between their exploratory learning and financial performance. Third, business assistance from incubator also positively moderates the relationship between incubated start-ups’ exploratory learning and financial performance.
