Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系課程與教學碩博士班 === 104 === This research is to define the job attitude based on Mead’s “symbolic interactionism” and Goffman’s “dramaturgy”, and, by this framework, to analyze the status of job attitude versus work stress of Tainan junior high school teachers, and to address the correlation in between to further examine the prediction developed for this correlation. This research was conducted by sampling official teachers among 40 junior high schools in Tainan. By using the “The chart of job attitude of junior high school teacher” and “ The scale of work stress of junior high school teacher”, both developed by the author, as the research platform to collect the census. 377 out of 400 copies of questionnaire survey were retrieved, reaching 94% return rate. 352 copies among them were effective, reaching percentage 93.3%. All the data were processed by SPSS v.21.0. using t-test, one-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), Pearson cross-product correlation, and stepwise multiple regression to obtain the various analyses. The conclusions of this research are as follows, A. On the job attitude for Tainan junior high school teachers, “self-defined” model inclines to medium-high. B. The overall job stress for Tainan junior high school teachers tends to medium high, especially on “interpersonal-relationship” C. Among various genders, ages, working years and positions of Tainan junior high school teachers, there are significant differentiations on job attitude D. For the job stress differentiations of Tainan junior high school teachers among different background variables, a. For Tainan junior high school teachers with different genders, the only differentiation shows on “professional skills” b. For Tainan junior high school teachers with different ages and working years, there are significant differentiations on job stress c. For Tainan junior high school teachers with different positions, there are significant differentiations on “overall job stress” and “class teaching” E. For Tainan junior high school teachers, the correlation between job stress and job attitude is low. F. For Tainan junior high school teachers, there is the prediction for the correlation between job stress and job attitude, i.e. the tendency of the job attitude is able to predict the job stress Lastly, based on the research conclusion, additional suggestions were offered as the references for institutions, junior high school teachers and future researches.
