Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 諮商與應用心理學系碩士班 === 104 === Abstract The main purpose of this research was to study current status of self-concept, well-being, and Prosocial Behaviors for elementary school students, and to explore the correlations among children’s personal profile ( grades and gender), self-concept, well-being, and Prosocial Behaviors, and to explore the relationship between the three. The participants in this study included 583 fifth-grade and sixth-grade students in southern Taiwan. The instruments used in the study included Self-concept Scale, Well-being Scale and Investigation of Prosocial Behavior Scale. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. The degree of overall performance of the students’ self-concept, well-being, and prosocial behaviors is above average. 2. The self-concept of the female students is significantly higher than the male ones on the aspect of family self and social self. 3. The well-being of the female students is significantly higher than the male ones. 4. The prosocial behaviors of the female students is significantly higher than the male ones. 5. The self-concept of the fifth-grade students is significantly higher than the sixth-grade ones on the aspect of overall self-concept, physical self ,and personal self. 6. The well-being of the fifth-grade students is significantly higher than the sixth-grade ones. 7. The prosocial behaviors of the fifth-grade students is significantly higher than the sixth-grade ones on the aspect of care. 8. Self-concept and well-being are significantly positive related. 9. Self-concept and prosocial behaviors are significantly positive related. 10. Well-being and prosocial behaviors are significantly positive related. 11. Self-concept and well-being can effectively predict the prosocial behaviors of elementary school students. The study not only discussed the research result, but also gave some suggestions to parents, teachers, concerned organizations and researchers of extended studies.
