Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 104 === Abstract The study aimed to investigate the effects of an adapted aquatic exercise plan on motor learning for students with cerebral palsy. There were five goals in three stages in the adapted aquatic exercise plan. This study is about the learning process of students with cerebral palsy and the effectiveness of the plan. The five goals included mental adjustment, motor control, transitional water, aquatic exercise and therapeutic swimming. The three stages included maximum assistance, moderate assistance and independent. Participants were students with cerebral palsy and severe physical disabilities. Intervention studies were done twice a week and a full course included thirty-three classes. Assessment tools were used to measure the five goals in the three stages, the Sherrill water fun success model and the Halliwick ten steps. An assessment rating score of 0-5 was assigned. The qualitative data were collected by teaching conversations, teaching reflections, learning diaries, and interviews. The data were analyzed by constant comparison and triangulation methods. For the quantitative study, the data was collected by the assessment tool score. The results of the effectiveness of learning gradually increased. The first stage was learning transitional water skills. The second stage was learning motor control and aquatic exercise. The third stage was learning therapeutic swimming. Research summarized the factors involved in motivation: accessible environment, interactivity, autonomy and achievement. Learning effectiveness factors include student advantages, learning goals, enhanced motivation, and eliminating interference. Keywords: Adapted aquatic exercise, cerebral palsy, five goals in three stages
