Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教師專業碩士學位學程 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Cooperative Learning combing Mind Mapping in elementary school sixth graders’ in Mind Map drawing and social studies learning achievement, and students’ learning experience and feedback on teaching strategy. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the teaching experiment of Cooperative Learning combing Mind Mapping started from September 2015 to November 2015.
The study adopted pre-experimental in one-group pretest-posttest design, which involved 26 students from a class of sixth grade in Happy Elementary School in Kaohsiung. The teaching strategy was Learning Together (LT) of Cooperative Learning combining Mind Mapping, and the curriculum materials that used were same to Social Textbook used in Happy Elementary School. This teaching experiment lasted for 10 weeks, a total of 11 courses. The research tools are score sheet of Mind Map, self-made Academic Achievement of Social Studies and Learning Experience Questionnaire of Cooperative Learning combining Mind Mapping. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed. The conclusions of this study were:
1. The combination of Cooperative Learning and Mind Mapping can enhance students’ Mind Map learning result.
2. The combination of Cooperative Learning and Mind Mapping can enhance students’ Social Studies learning result.
3. Through using the combination of Cooperative Learning and Mind Mapping in class, student could have positive learning experience.
The result of this research had provided the related suggestion from both research and teaching for future reference as teaching and related research.
