Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 科學教育與應用學系碩士班 === 104 === The aim of this action research was to know how to enhance students’ questioning ability and positive attitude for reading.There are 38 students in this study, and they are from two classes of the fifth grade. It took 4 weeks, 8 periods. Researcher started teaching science by choosing appropriate text and collecting, consolidating the qualitative data which includes the notes of introspection, records of observation, learning sheets, and interviews, etc. to present the result. The study found that using appropriate teaching strategies,small-group shared reading and choosing appropriate text can enhance students’ questioning ability (including the quantity of questions and question level) ,interest and confidence in science reading. The researcher also got self-examination and professional development through the study and love to share all the process and result with those who are interested in teaching science reading.
