碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 運動管理學系碩士班 === 104 === The study is about discussing the correlation among three variables: students’ participation motives for sports clubs, learning effectiveness and academic achievements, as well as the variation across demographic variables. The study was carried out in Chiayi County’s Public Senior High schools and Vocational schools. The study uses purposive sampling as a tool for informant selection for questionnaire testing. 390 out of 400 questionnaires were returned and 370 questionnaires were valid. The rate of return was 94.8%. The data were processed with descriptive statistics, One way anova, Scheffe's method and Multiple Regression Analysis. Based on the research, the conclusions following are: (1) The results for different demographic variables are statistically significant (2) Students’ participation motives for sports clubs has a positive influence on students’ learning effectiveness. (3) Students’ participation motives for sports clubs has a positive influence on students’ academic achievements.
