The students make online discussion and interactive study in the discussion forum of the Moodle every week for the discussion threads related to the class. They can achieve in-depth learning through the discussion, interaction, idea sharing and exchange. Moreover, they correct the wrong views and constructed their own knowledge. In order to understand the learning experience of nursing students in e-learning platform of Moodle, the researcher collected data from a total of 196 freshmen from the nursing students of 4-year college through retrospective data. We collected data based on the articles posted by the nursing students in the discussion forum of the Moodle every week, and analyzed data based on qualitative content analysis method. The result comprises of three themes: (1) knowledge: “computer and mobile devices”, “application of computer in Nursing”, “information security” and “information ethics”; (2) skills: “PowerPoint”, “Word”, “Excel”, “Power Director”, “information retrieval”; and (3) attitude: “correct attitude towards the information technique application”. We compared for the study result and the computer competency to the other related literatures, and propose related suggestions for teaching objectives, which can also provide advice for the teachers in class planning in the future.
