In fact, the breast cancer can be early detected and early treatment through regular screening program. Breast cancer screening has promoted in all around the world, and therefore Taiwan government also provides 45-69 year old female free to accept a mammography. In addition, the Ministry of health and welfare also provide incentive payments to subsidize medical institutions offer patients and their families integrated cancer resources and services. In recent years, although breast cancer screening rate has been increased to 36%, it still far from other countries around the world whose screening rate were nearly 60-80%. Therefore, this study intended to use the mode of knowledge, attitudes and behavior, to explore the idea of 45-69 year-old women on breast cancer prevention. This research was conducted by cross-sectional study, and makes reference to domestic and international literatures and the prevention information issued by the international community. During the period from June to August 2014, a structure questionnaire was designed with intended sampling. Total number issued was 297, the actual recovery was 290, and the recovery rate is 97.64%. This research was analysis by IBM SPSS Statistics for descriptive Statistics, T-test/ANOVA(one-way analysis of variance) and double variable Pearson`s Correlation Coefficient and Multiple lineal regression etc. The results of this study shows that the 45-69 year-old women have the lowest accuracy rate on the part of epidemiological of knowledge questions, and also have the lowest accuracy rate on active prevention and advocacy of attitudes and behavior questions. Those women who had ever received breast cancer screening has higher score in cancer prevention knowledge, attitudes, behavior and re-implement screening rate than those who had never get breast cancer screening. The women whose level of education are junior or below and those have no personal monthly income get lower score at level of attitudes. The women whose level of education is junior have higher score at level of behavior. It means that prevention knowledge has positive effect on attitudes;Attitudes have positive effect on behavior, but knowledge has negative effect on behavior. The study shows those level of education is university or higher, there accuracy rate of knowledge is 90.26%, but the implement rate of behavior is 78.68 %. Based on findings of this study, the proposals are as follows: 1.Continue to strengthen promotion free screenings Information and to add epidemiological information on promotion programs; 2.To strengthen regular screening on highly educated women. Hoping health units could take this study as a reference that give an impetus to breast cancer prevention, increase the breast cancer screening rate effectively, thus to decrease breast cancer incidence and mortality.
