Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 高階經營碩士班 === 104 === Because of food safety scandals, evidence suggests that food consumers are not satisfied with food polices and have low degree of trust in government and food companies. Such conditions raise serious brand threats to those companies that have tried to control all materials that come in contact with food cautiously. Facing increasingly complex food safety issues and fading people’s trust in government and food safety, the Central government of Taiwan have implemented food safety policies in order to decrease any risk of contamination with the food that food companies provides and certify food companies compliance with health and safety requirements in the whole food making process.
In addition to conducting In-depth interviews with the practitioners who are the administers and employers of food companies, three companies that comply with the law and manage food making process carefully in their business are the case study of this research. Examining the experiences and views of food-industry practitioners provides a more significant insight into the food-safety-management debates between government and food companies as well as the obstacles of implementing current food policies and regulations in Taiwan.
