Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 企業管理學系研究所 === 104 === The advances in Communications Technology, Semiconductor Technology and Sensing Technology alter our life to IOT era from Mobile Device era. The field which this thesis intend to research is the Strategy Planning of the Mediatek company in the IC Design industry of the Wearable Electronics, the subsidiary industry of the IOT industry. Furthermore, the data in this thesis is based on the IC Design industry of the Mobile Phone field. From research worker point of view, we try to forecast and analyze the scenarios or the problems that the Mediatek will face in the future. Eventually, we’ll give some strategic suggestions to the Mediatek as well.
Based on Qualitative Research Method, we try to analyze and comprehend the IC Design industry of the Wearable Electronics field and Mobile Phone field. Besides, we also take advantage of Porter Five Forces analysis to analyze it, use In-depth interview to prove the accuracy of the data and use Case Study research to realize the specialty between the Mediatek company and its competitors. Finally, we use SWOT analysis to summarize all the previous data in this research and recommend some strategic suggestions to the Mediatek company.
After the data gathering and analysis have done in this research, we can let other people understand the status and the trend in the IC Design industry of the Wearable Electronics field and Mobile Phone field promptly. Moreover, we can give some suggestions to the investor and the staff who are working related to the industry analysis.
