Method: This study Quasi-experimental design method which performs on two schools , one is experimental group (thirty Field Hockey players of Gao -Shu junior high school in Pingtung County) and the other is control group(twenty Field Hockey players of Yen-Pen junior high school in Pingtung County) . It use Life Effectiveness scale and Group Cohesion scale to conduct performance tests to conduct performance tests. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 19.0 for Windows to conduct the statistical methods of dependent sample T-test、One-way ANCOVA and effect. Result: The participants who take part in the adventure education perived the higher performance of the post scores on the five dimensions of Life Effectiveness (emotional control, achievement motivation , social competence, self confidence, and active initiative)and Group Cohesion(group adjustment, interpersonal affiliation ,interpersonal attraction ,team work and adventure group cohesion) than the control group and appeared significant differences(p < .05) . IN conclusion: The adventure education can bring out a positive effect on Life Effectiveness and Group Cohesion for Field Hockey players in Junior High School. According to the research conclusion, the author proposes the specific recommendations. These suggestions as the reference for the school administrators, the junior high schools Players training and the scholars who are doing the further relating study.
