Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 工業管理系所 === 104 === Manufacturing of metal steel parts is characterized as multiple processes, customization, and batch order in which the production systems highly relies on machinery operations, technology, and labor experiences as well. Limited by multi manufacturing processes and highly dependence of human skills, the due date control and time consumption in association with cost estimation for manufacturing of metal steel parts are particularly difficult. This study utilizes the concept of value stream mapping with lean production to reduce unnecessary wastes. Moreover a system of electricity monitoring device with radio frequency identification (RFID) as an efficient management system is designed and the case of a fructose machine is implement to demonstrate the system applicability. The demonstration composes of factory layout, operational data collection through the designed system, and required on-site manufacturing process. Results from the implementation indicate that the system’s applicability in which the concept of a smart factory system design for metal sheet manufacturing is also pictured.
