The participants of this study were Grade fifth and sixth students in twenty-five elementary schools of Kaohsiung City selected by using stratified proportion sampling. There are totally 1218 valid cases. Three scales in the questionnaires used in this study were Chen Internet Addiction Scale, Interpersonal Relationships Scale and Social Support Scale. The statistical analysis included descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s product-moment statistics. The results of this study were as follows: 1)Average score of Internet addiction of high grade students in elementary schools of Kaohsiung City is lower than intermediate value. Internet addiction of suspected cases accounted for 24%. 2)School and family are the main resources of Interpersonal relationships of high grade students in elementary schools of Kaohsiung City. 3)Real-life social support for high grade students in elementary schools of Kaohsiung City is higher than virtual social support. 4)A significantly positive correlation between internet addiction and “internet interpersonal relationship” exists in the relation of internet addiction and interpersonal relationship. 5)Another significantly positive correlation between internet addiction and “internet social support” exists in the relation of internet addiction and social support.
