Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 應用物理系碩士班 === 104 === In this work, magnetic circular polarization dichroism spectroscopy has been used to study the magneto-absorption effect of Co doped amorphous carbon (Co:a-C). Co:a-C composited films are grown by co-sputtering. After vacuum rapid thermal annealing, the bonds between Co and C and the distribution Co can be modified evidenced by Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy measurements. Possible physical mechanism which we raised:the a-C film before annealing has a magneto-absorption effect by doping Co the position of about 5.5eV, presumed in contributions from the interfaces between Co and C. Samples after annealing had a more pronounced signal change at the same energy, The results can be related to Co clustering and the increase of sp2 states. We believe that the interfacial spin polarization band between the Co and C play an important role in the observed phenomena.
