Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 應用物理系碩士班 === 104 === The surface plasmonic effect has been widely researched and used in the past few decades, and there are a lot of literatures that indicate the noble metal has strong surface plasmonic effect in the nanostructure. This phenomenon can be potentially used in many applications, such as biological sensor, quantum informatics, sensing, data storage, lighting and so on. In this study, MCD measurement is used to demonstrate the optical activity of anodic aluminum oxide(AAO) membrane and surface plasmonic effect of periodic subwavelength holes of Au film. When the thickness of Au is around 30 nm, the surface plasmonic effect is excited by circularly polarized light. This spectrum is different from the AAO membrane, and the surface plasmonic effect generates enormous circular dichoism near infrared by tuning the angle of the incident light; therefore, the optical crystal property can be effectively enhanced by coating the material which has strong surface plasmonic effect.
