The IEEE 802.11p transmission specifications were standardized in 2002, forming the prototype of VANETs. At present, mobile networks are mature communication networks while new regulations for VANETs have been scarce due to their transmission limitations. This has caused a considerable setback in the researches of VANET. To integrate the telecommunication networks (such as 4G LTE system) into the VANET environment is a promising approach to the limited bandwidth of VANETs. The transmitting of bandwidth-intensive multimedia streaming among vehicles will no longer being interrupted by connection failures. The considered environment of this thesis is a heterogeneous network that is interrogating by VANET V2V system and a 4G LTE system. A probability model was developed to estimate the effective bandwidth of the V2V system, and an estimate method was also proposed to estimate the effective bandwidth of the 4G LTE system. The findings were used to select the optimal transmission pathway based on between the two communication systems. WANG, CHU-FU 王朱福 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 24 zh-TW
