The paper gathers the results based on methodology through action teaching, which targets the group of seventh grade’s students at Pingtung Private Kuai Le Junior High School. Researcher found out that the rhythmic ability among the majority of middle schoolers is underperformed, which leads to the teaching difficulty from teachers especially when solving problems result from students' rthymic stability and correctness. In order to improve the aforementioned situation, based on the research results derived from a school of literatures discussing the effect that rhythmic teaching have on students’ ability and command of rhythmic skill, the paper further investigates the tangible impact through implementing rhythmic speech to help junior high school students to develop learning ability of rhythms in music. Additionally, the paper adopts an action plan during a duration of six weeks to track students’ growth and development in rhythm performance. Through appropriate research methodologies and careful analysis, the research successfully facilitates skills in distinguishing rhythmic notes and enhancing beat stability among seventh graders. Through the adopted research tools and methods including teaching evaluation form, teaching recording form, student learning sheet, teacher evaluation form from third parties, and various other tools, it assists the paper to conclude several finding after a thorough analysis. The research results can be further concluded as the following: 1. Investigate the effect of using rhythmic speech in teaching on raising students’ rhythmic ability. 2. Rhythmic speech can strengthen students’ basic music skills including rhythmic, beat, and note recognition ability. 3. Utilizing rhythmic speech strategy can facilitate development of musical foundation among seventh graders. 4. Rhythmic speech can improve students’ ability in music improvisation and ensemble. 5. Rhythmic speech helps with various performance styles in music improvisation, which in result stimulates students’ confidence and and joy while learning.
