Summary:碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 福祉科技與服務管理所 === 104 === This study was designed to investigate the status of Self-Reported Health Status status of the elderly and Miaoli area community subjective well-being, the relationship with the relevant factors of the two, and then to explore the predictors of subjective well-being. Adopt a cross - sectional survey research, select Miaoli area over 55 years old community drawn 257 human samples to a structured questionnaire as a tool to conduct interviews to collect data. The questionnaire included demographic variables, Self-Reported Health Status and well-being scale. The results are as follows: First, the area surveyed Miao community elderly male 125, female 132 respondents between the ages of 55-85 years old, living conditions in order to live with their children most economic source of most of the social assistance and child support; married accounted for eighty percent. The results showed that 55-60 and 61-65-year-old ethnic Health Status significantly better than the population over the age of 81; married people perceived health status significantly higher than the unmarried population; happiness section also significantly higher than the 55-year-old population over the age of 81 ethnic groups; couples living well-being significantly higher than living alone; higher education groups in the perceived health status and happiness significantly higher than the low educated groups.
