Evereyone had different stories, memories of their family, and will move on to create more love and stories in the space named “Home”. Home is the place where family share intimate relationships. We grow up with different habits, thinking modes, characteristics and values, and all of these are deeply influenced by parents and caregivers. In other words, family of origin has significant effect on one’s life.
My concept of this work based on Carl Gustav Jung’s psychology. I reviewed the effect of my family to create my work, and find out the belief of my heart to complete my inner world. The composition of work structure is presented in concrete representations through metaphor, symbolism to center upon the expression of life experiences. I use multiple materials but not just one single material to create my work. I expect to record my life memory in this moment, and achieve self-exploration by using various materials and methods. There are two series of my work, including “ The Memories of My Family” and “ A Baby with Father “. In the process of creation, I seek and understand more about my inner world. The purposes of this study are as following:
1. I memorized my family life in the past and tried to look back my real thought and feeling then.
2. I realized the differences of my life, my identity, and my title after marriage. Hope to capture every single touched moment in my family life and explore the true belief in my heart.
3. In the process of construction and deconstruction of work, I look for real ideas and thought in my life experiences. I expect all the viewers have the same touched feeling and enjoy the work in the future.
