碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 美術學系 === 104 === Abstract Art creation is a process of interaction between self-existence and external world. No matter what medium, genres or concepts are employed for art creation; they contain emotions that artists desire to convey, including self-identification, life experience, trajectory of thought and context of memories. This study researched into the composition, models and symbols of art works in order to explore the author’s original intention for creation. In addition, the discussion and analysis of documents became unique inspiration for art creation. By means of art creation, the author searched for the true nature of subconscious emotions. The study as a start point focused on the topic of art work “The Journey of Love” from the author’s love experiences to a modern love that lacks of steady boundary through the author’s artist viewpoints and his own love experiences at different life phases and real social observations. Turn the interactions with the author’s girlfriend into a series of inner soul art works, such as “Teenagers’ first love and crush on someone”, “Ouch! My love, love never fails”, “Why is breakup so painful?” and “At that moment I am decadent in sex.” The author employed mixed media as an experimental design to discuss his own love in different aspects; in addition, through art creation and self-observation, the author can conduct unique style and language of arts. As a result, love can be found in real art creations. Moreover, we can discuss feelings about love, the existence of love, the value and meaning of life in love, and to reflect one's own life according to the definition of love.
