The research's self-designed research tool was used in this study. The researcher conducted a questionnaire survey with 163 special education teachers of elementary school in Kaohsiung city. There were 157 valid questionnaires. The data were analyzed statistically via descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Based on the results, 65% of the special education teachers of elementary school had the experience of teaching science and technology course. Self-made material and adapt from regular classes were the textbook source. The computer (or multimedia) materials and the specific operation articles were the most commonly used materials. The age of teachers, the experience of teaching science and technology course, curriculum designed by science teachers and teaching materials obtained from the Internet were the signifficant factors that affect the teaching activity.
