Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 體育學系 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to explore the progress and the efficiency of physical activity teaching for older adults, the older adults' perception of physical activity, the problems and solutions that the instructor met. The participants of study by purposive sampling were the researcher and fourteen older adults in a community of Penghu County. The study was researched by qualitative and quantitative methods, and used research diaries, the interview outline, teaching observations, the functional fitness measure etc. to collect informations. The quantitative informations used t-test correlated samples to compare the learning efficiency of the functional fitness. The qualitative informations used coding, analysis and verification, etc. to explore the progress, the perception, the problems and the solutions. The conclusions after discussion were as follows: (1) By adaptive, steady and mature process, it can find that learning responsibility of physical activity teaching distracts from the instructor to older adults. It illustrates the necessity of distracting learning responsibility and the developing of teaching action. (2) Many functional fitness items are raised, a small part aren’t because of low intensity curriculum considerating security. It confirms moderate physical activity teaching can effectively improve the older adults' bodily functions, thereby improving their quality of life. (3) The older adults generally consider they learn a lot from physical activity teaching, and approve participate in physical activity makes their physical and psychological feel pleasure and promotes interpersonal interaction. (4) The problems and solutions of physical activity teaching for older adults promote each other. The researcher fully reflects the importance of teaching benefits teacher and student alike with flexible plans and correction teaching in the teaching action research. Finally, it concludes with recommendations: (1) To establish perfect cultivating courses for the physical activity instructors of older adults. (2) To establish the functional fitness norm of older adults in Taiwan.
