Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 人力與知識管理研究所 === 104 === The purpose of this study is to discuss the correlation of study of learning motivation, school-choosing strategy and life development of international students in Taiwan. Based on the finding of the study, conclusions and suggestions are provided for universities and reaserchers.
A questionnaire survey method by convenient sampling was used to collect data of which 234 valid samples were collected and valid rate was 56.39% from the international students that still studying at unervisities in Kaohsiung and Pingtung areas. Descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analy -sis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, Scheffé method and regression analysis were used to analyze the data and test the hypotheses by using SPSS 22.0 version.
According to the results, international studsnts pay the most attention on self growing and future development. International students who have stronger study motivation do pay more attention on school-choosing, especially on learning resources. Besides, Chinese student from Mainland China have lower learning motivation and life satisfaction which deserve more attention from Taiwanese higher education institutions.
Based on the findings, this research suggestions: institutions of higher education should consolidate and intensify the learning resources, make the most of the connection of all relations and cooperate with enterprises to satisfy internation students’ need of self-realization and promote the possibilities of future life development.
