To know the relevant factors of the heavy losses on the old persons. 2. To explore the physical and spiritual status during the process of the heavy losses. 3. To explore the key factors from the heavy losses to the residences. The methods of the study were the from the narrations by the in-depth-interviews on the objects of the old persons. The implement of the study was semi-structured interviews edited by the researcher. The objects included three men and three women aged from 57 to 82 years old who had the experiences of the heavy losses and the resilience during the seniority. The results of the study were listed as below: 1. The factors of the heavy losses of the old persons: a. The losses of the assets accumulated in their lives. b. The losses of the dreams in the final stage of their lives. 2. The status of life from the heavy losses on the old people: a. The overall strikes of the physical and spiritual losses on the older persons. b. The spiritual transcend from the pains of the heavy losses. 3. The key factors to the resilience from the heavy losses: a. The embrace the religions. b. Love and responsibilities. c. The will to survive. d. The differences of the resilience between female and male are varied. e. The personality accumulates the ability for resilience.
