Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 104 === This study focused on “school-based international education project” (abbreviated as SIEP) as supported by the Ministry of Education, meanwhile, “the White Paper on International Education for Primary & Secondary Schools at Taiwan” was used as the main research document. First, literature review was conducted to clarify the meaning related to international education, next, the promotional keys of school-based international education project was analyzed, furthermore, interview and document analysis method were used to make interviews on teachers of “The Sunshine Elementary School” so as to understand the operation processes, thinking in implementation and difficulties faced during the implementation of school-based international education project. The research objectives of this study were as follows: I, to investigate the background of school in case study for promoting international education, II, to understand the present situation of school in case study for promoting school-based international education project, III, to understand the performance and thinking of school in case study for promoting school-based international education project, IV, to propose suggestions according to the above research results to be used as references by administrative organization, primary school and secondary school and education workers for implementing international education.
The conclusions of this study were as follows:
I . The implementation of SIEP project for The Sunshine Elementary School has used localized features, culture, or has created its own situation.
II. In the teaching of The Sunshine Elementary School, in addition to the presently existed curriculum, international education topics were also added.
III. Teachers have learned the promotion of social group and SIEP project, and the association of both of them has provided great assistance to the promotion and enhancement of international education in campus.
IV. The school thought that the documents of SIEP were tedious, and some indexes (for example, global competence) were difficult to be seen in the curriculum of primary school.
