There are three purposes of the paper:(1)To understand the senior anchor camp learners’ learning motivation and learning process.(2)To study the learners’ growth and achievements of access to the media from the senior anchor camp.(3)To propose the most suitable curriculum designs for the senior learners. The paper is studied with the approach of action research.Its research targets are the fourteen senior anchor camp learners of National Kaohsiung Normal University of 2017.The author has looked for better curriculum designs for the elderly with qualitative research through in-depth interview, observation, student feedback and researcher’s reflective thought. Meanwhile, the author has also observed the learners’ changes toward the access to the media. The paper has been divided into three steps: 1‧the first step including facility supply and basic use. 2‧the second step including active use, participation in content production and productive skills. 3‧the third step: productive contents including public issues like social participation and community development. Finally, the author has found that most senior learners have improved to the second step after they have learned the class of access to the media in ten three-hour classes . However, only two of them have the abilities to make the films of public community issues. It is mainly because of the personal pre-course knowledge and skills, willingness and interest and the effects of curriculum designs. The adaptive teaching will make the instructions of access to the media get a better performance if the author takes learners’ lives and work experiences into consideration of curriculum designs. Further, the diversity of curriculum content can contribute to learners’ growth in many ways. Most importantly, it will get better results if the author gives learners more hours to practice in class.
