A total of 9,068 individuals of 28 species in 12 families were collected, there were 20 species collected in Takan stream and 26 species collected in Shanswee stream. The ranked abundance among fish species within season showed no significant variation in winter both for Takan and Shanswee streams. Only a significant alteration was found in Ta A site, but no other site displayed significant variation of ranked abundance among seasons for other sampling sites in Takan stream. Two sampling sites, the Sha B and Sha C sites, showed no significant difference on ranked abundance among fish species among seasons in Shanswee stream. Based on the spatiotemporal variations of fish abundance, the effect of cemented bank did not show a strong on the temporal variations of fish communities. The result of this study suggested fish sampling in winter season (October – December) will have a more stable ranked abundance among fish species than in summer and autumn. When greater precipitation may cause flooding to reduce sampling efficiency in summer and autumn, multiple sampling is required to compensate for sampling lost.
