碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 金融系碩士班金融組 === 104 === As some borrowers have occurred defaults under syndicated loans in recent years, the creditor bank may suffer from these events of credit risk. So, this study tries to investigate the impact of bank syndicated loan on non-performing loan and bank performance. The sample consists of 33 banks in Taiwan over the period 2009 to 2014. The empirical method uses panel data regression model. The results show that the syndicated loan is significantly positive related to non-performing loan, but significantly negative related to bank performance.
