When foreigner have illness or happen accident in abroad, need to go to local hospital. So foreigner need to communicate with doctor and nurse at local hospital. If the foreigner can''t talk foreign language or local language, he can''t clearly talk about his problem with doctor. Then he also can''t understand what is doctor asks questions. Even if doctor successfully understands foreigner''s problem and treats for it. Because of language barriers foreigner also can''t understand that doctor provides health information and can''t remember the information. Moreover due to the foreigner lack of health literacy, can''t understand that doctor provides treatment and can''t make decide to treat for it. This study focus on problem of deficiency in patients’ health literacy and matter of patients seeing the doctor at the clinic in Taiwan. And assisting in patients’ medical record information after see the doctor. Then we study literature and gather experience of seeing the doctor. We also actually go see the doctor to understand the process and behavior at the clinic. And then we collect and analyze their data to find out medical problem and demand. Then we design and develop a medical application. In this study, we have some user test for the application. Then we find out that during seeing the doctor patient is willing to use it to help to communicate with doctor. And strengthening patient''s health literacy through application. However a doctor think the application is not good during patient seeing the doctor. Because the application function is similar to current application. Doctor think that they have not need to two application. So how to make doctor can accept the application, it had been the future development goals of this study.
