Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 輪機工程研究所 === 104 === In this paper, the stiffness matrix before matrix condensation is called original stiffness matrix, while that after matrix condensation is called condensed stiffness matrix. The main object of this paper is to perform the static analysis of a structure due to external static load by using matrix condensation technique. Firstly, the mathematical expressions for calculating the condensed stiffness matrix are presented. Then, the condensed stiffness matrix is applied to the static analysis of structures due to external static loads. Finally, three numerical results are presented to confirm the reliability of theory presented in this paper. From the above-mentioned numerical results, it can be found that the condensed stiffness matrix can be used to accurately predict the static behaviour of a structure due to external static loads. Because the order of the condensed stiffness matrix is much less than that of the original stiffness matrix, the presented matrix condensation technique is meaningful.
