Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 海洋環境工程研究所 === 104 === The full-scale constructed wetland was combined free surface flow with a subsurface flow to treat swine wastewater in Wuluo River in Jural Township, Pingtung County in southern Taiwan. A total area 5 ha and treatment capability of 10,000 m3 d-1. The operation period from January 2015 to June 2016. To evaluate the performance of constructed wetland as well as oyster shell pool. The annual average removal efficiencies were 45%, 35%, 64%, 29% and 21% of BOD5, COD, SS, TP, and TN, respectively. Considerable variation in mass loading rate, a size of media, local condition as well as the type of plants in wetland systems. Plants species, there were not significant difference between different of each plant. Oyster shells were obtained in constructed wetland, which can enhance percent removal. Increasing of percent removal efficiency was 5.88%, 2.54%, 2.72%, 2.70% and 2.75% of BOD5, COD, SS, TP, and TN, respectively. Oyster shell was selected due to its availability, the characteristic shape, good rigidity, outstanding chemical constitutes and biological stability. Moreover, the mass loading rate (MLR) were plot with mass removal rate (MRR) of BOD5, COD, SS, TP, and TN. The results showed that the mass loading rates (MLR) were significant positively regressed with mass removal rates (MRR). Based on the results suggested that the mass loading was a major factor in the pollutant removal. Thereby, to achieve the high performance of constructed wetland, the media, soil including oyster shell must be annual cleaning.
