Railway system is a close system, thus if delay occur, other trains might also be affected, a form of “chain effect”. Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) tilting train delay data were collected and analyzed in this study. Train delay can divided into: station delay, train delay, route operation delay and other delay. After discovered main issue of train delay occurrence, this study provide suggestions for train delay prevention and improvement.
