Summary: | 碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 森林暨自然資源學系碩士班 === 104 === Sawmilling operation is an important process of wood product. It is mostly customized products and different lumber sizes at domestic sawmill. There are several sawing patterns about sawmill. In this research, the field collected data was analyzed for discussing the relationship between the data of lumber products and its carbon footprint. All the data were collected from four sawmills with different business models in Taiwan. The production quantity, time spent, production efficiency, lumber recovery, energy consumption, machine type, species and sawing method was included in the data. In further to build a mathematical model, the multiple linear regression is used as the analyzing scheme. Finally, the analysis result is discussed. The result indicates that the species and surface area sawn are better independent variables when estimating the band saw motor energy consumption function.
