Functional movement screen (FMS) is based on the body's movement pattern and motor control, which including seven measurements, such as deep squat, hurdle step, in-line lunge, shoulder mobility, active straight leg raise, trunk stab push up and rotary stability, and identify the symmetry of the human body segment through detection, to identify the postural control and prevent sports injury. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between specific field-tests and FMS performance in baseball athletes. Method: 30 male, teenage baseball players underwent several tests of throwing velocity, swing speed, flexibility (sit and reach), sprint and FMS. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used to evaluate the relationships between each specific field-tests (predictor, independent variable) and FMS performance (criterion, dependent variable). Result: Significant correlations were found between swing speed, vertical jump, flexibility (sit and reach), 100 meters sprint and FMS performance of deep squat, push-ups, in-line lunge, shoulder mobility. Conclusion: Strength, flexibility, speed and other Specific Strength are very important for teenage male baseball athletes, and it also have strong correlations with some of the performance of FMS.
