Purpose: The purpose of this study was to trace the development of Physical Education journal and Sport and Exercise Research in terms of published articles from fall 2009 through fall 2015. The analysis of the data provides the taxonomy of subject areas for the articles, summary information on authorship including the impact of collaboration, and an assessment of the institutional affiliation of the contributing authors, generalize the popular topic. Method: The research method of the study was content analysis by using the content analysis list designed from the researcher. Each issue of the journal was reviewed independently by two data recorders who wrote down the descriptive information and then compared their records prior to entering the information in the database. Agreement was up to 80% for the selection and recording of each article. Data received were analysis by SPSS and Excel. Result: The study finds that the two journals recruit more science articles than social science articles. Physical Education Journal recruits maximum articles in Sport and Exercise Psychology and Sport and Exercise Research recruits maximum articles in athletic physiology. In the published articles numbers, it has been a trend that there were more than one author do the research. The published articles of author source are different in the two journals. Except of statistics analysis methods, aging, physical activity and sport training have been the common popular topic in the two journals. Conclusion: The results show there were some similar terms in Physical Education journal and Sport and Exercise Research, just like the taxonomy of the subject areas for the articles, the numbers of authors. On the other hand, there have been some difference terms in the numbers of the recruit studies, the authors and institution who submitted articles to the publication, and the popular top. This study suggested that the contributor might realize the property of Physical Education journal and Sport and Exercise Research, before submitting articles for publication.
